That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. 6 minutes into the match, Bahri Rafiz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sergio Coomans, 2-0. 9 minutes into the match, Bahri Rafiz notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Genk's Sergio Coomans. Sergio Coomans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bahri Rafiz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sergio Coomans firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Yakut Kudret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tim-Jan Huvenaerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Navigators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ümit Davala to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Siebe Dejonghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kale Kale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Genk's goal looked a bit too open when Kostas Kelaidonis came free, but Sergio Coomans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Coomans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yakut Kudret in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Ümit Davala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Coomans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Coomans made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Yakut Kudret sent off a good shot on target. İlker Uğurhan's late challenge caught a Genk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İlker Uğurhan helped the player get up and apologised. Kale Kale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorie Allaert in the 39th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charly Tombuer during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Genk got a freekick which was hit by Charly Tombuer. Navigators's Atacan Erdemli shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sergio Coomans but with some difficulty.

In the 59th minute Ümit Davala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Coomans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Navigators's Sefa Zeyyat was substituted for Kostas Kelaidonis. After 68 played minutes Genk got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Van den Inde. Sergio Coomans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yakut Kudret's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Sergio Coomans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahri Rafiz in the 74th minute of the match. Siebe Dejonghe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Kale Kale made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gregorie Allaert in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kale Kale saved Navigators from getting behind. Kale Kale made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Siebe Dejonghe sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the match, Genk's goal looked a bit too open when Ümit Davala came free, but Sergio Coomans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Sefa Zeyyat sped through Genk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sergio Coomans. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yakut Kudret in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Coomans saved Genk from getting behind. Sergio Coomans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yakut Kudret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
