The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Juan Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Shantala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the game, Hílton Lago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Relyn Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventud Antoniana the free kick. In the 5th minute, Hílton Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Vieira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Fernado went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Juan Vieira came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Juventud Antoniana's Mauro Fernado. But to his dismay, Mauro Fernado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Fernado came free, but Juan Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, Juventud Antoniana's Marcelo Cordarius made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Fernado came free, but Juan Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Fernado, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A hard shot 40 in the game by Beto Trigo from a close distance when the talented Celso Demario managed to make a qualified save. Juventud Antoniana's players were relieved. Andres Teyo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beto Trigo to make the kick off. Fausto Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Relyn Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Marcelo Cordarius scored to the left of an out of position Juan Vieira, making the score, 0-4. Juan Vieira made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Moises Shantala sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute Marcelo Cordarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Relyn Futebol Clube's Lucas Munhoz got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Mauro Fernado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes Juventud Antoniana got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Fernado. After a rather tough play, Relyn Futebol Clube's José Augusto Capixaba got a free kick in the 69th minute. Juan Vieira made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Moises Shantala sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute Marcelo Cordarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80thth minute of the game Beto Trigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juventud Antoniana's Celso Demario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juan Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Cordarius, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Beto Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Celso Demario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Fernado in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match, Moises Shantala got a very nice opportunity to score, but Juan Vieira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match was over Juventud Antoniana could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Relyn Futebol Clube throughout the match.
