The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Sperides getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Lucero Iniesta hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, União dos 7 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucero Mezquita came free, but Anísio Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vágner Queiroz charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vágner Queiroz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 9 minutes into the match, Bernabé Cerreri sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Anísio Aparecido threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Bernabé Cerreri this time. In the 11th minute of the match Saverio Ribeiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anísio Aparecido showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of União dos 7 FC booed when Sperides was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 20 minutes on the clock, Víctor Cabada commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Sperides:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of União dos 7 FC:s goal. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for União dos 7 FC! When the match had been going on for 28 minutes, Sperides's Saverio Ribeiro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Anísio Aparecido. In the 31st minute, Oscar Valdivia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anísio Aparecido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saverio Ribeiro in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, União dos 7 FC's Gil Valerón got a free kick in the 34th minute. Saverio Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Sperides's Anísio Aparecido threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Presebal Freire, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. União dos 7 FC's Anísio Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Presebal Freire in the 36th minute of play. Fiz Veloso hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in União dos 7 FC's zone, Fiz Veloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anísio Aparecido came out of the goal and Fiz Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orlondo Amer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner de Queiroz in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saverio Ribeiro made a kick off. Anísio Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Presebal Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute of the match Sperides got a corner. União dos 7 FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saverio Ribeiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. União dos 7 FC's Anísio Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Ribeiro in the 68th minute of play. Anísio Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Presebal Freire in the 69th minute of the match. Fiz Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Anísio Aparecido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernabé Cerreri hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. União dos 7 FC made a substitution. Berke Topçam replaced Naci Cabezon. A collision led to Sperides getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Bernabé Cerreri hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Alfredo Borges could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Orlondo Amer however easily saved by the left post. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind União dos 7 FC's goalkeeper Anísio Aparecido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Presebal Freire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anísio Aparecido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Orlondo Amer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Silva in the 88th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, União dos 7 FC's Orlondo Amer threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Berke Topçam, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 92 played minutes União dos 7 FC got a freekick which was hit by Gil Valerón. Anísio Aparecido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Presebal Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
