An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Rodrigues in the 13th minute of play forced Natural Born Killers's goalkeeper Tito Borubar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Radomir Jurgiel fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Natural Born Killers's protests and gave Radomir Jurgiel a yellow card for diving instead. Radomir Jurgiel hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Natural Born Killers's zone, Betinho Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tito Borubar came out of the goal and Betinho Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 minutes, Ronaldo Crispín made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Natural Born Killers's Tito Borubar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rdth minute of the game Betinho Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Natural Born Killers's Tito Borubar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 24 played minutes São Paulo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Crispín. In the 26th match minute, Natural Born Killers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borys Wawak to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionísio Catarinense in the 27th minute of play forced Natural Born Killers's goalkeeper Tito Borubar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Ronaldo Crispín left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The São Paulo F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 35 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Crispín had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tito Borubar. Natural Born Killers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldo Crispín was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 40th minute Betinho Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tito Borubar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Betinho Rodrigues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The São Paulo F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Pedro Paulo de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Zacharczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With his leg Tito Borubar managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when São Paulo F.C.'s Betinho Rodrigues fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ronaldo Crispín might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tito Borubar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldo Crispín ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute of the match, Ronaldo Crispín tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tito Borubar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tito Borubar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 60th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dionísio Catarinense. When Dé Aparecido fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São Paulo F.C.'s protests and gave Dé Aparecido a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Dé Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Betinho Rodrigues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Tito Borubar made a huge save. 70 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Crispín recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tito Borubar. Ronaldo Crispín showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. In the 80th minute, Dionísio Catarinense sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Natural Born Killers's Tito Borubar didn't even have to move. In the 83rd minute, Ronaldo Crispín fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 84 minutes into the match, Natural Born Killers's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Crispín came free, but Tito Borubar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Crispín in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tito Borubar saved Natural Born Killers from getting behind. São Paulo F.C. were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Natural Born Killers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dionísio Catarinense took the corner. Dionísio Catarinense made a great header on São Paulo F.C.'s corner, it was just that Natural Born Killers's Tito Borubar managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 90th minute, Natural Born Killers's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ronaldo Crispín fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 91st minute, Betinho Rodrigues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tito Borubar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Tito Borubar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Crispín, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
