Kristof Klompe's late challenge caught a FC Kenglo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristof Klompe helped the player get up and apologised. Kristof Klompe kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Oliver Springfält showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinhard Alards, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Sindre Westerlund got a free kick in the 18th minute. A collision led to FC Kenglo getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Georg Klintæus hit a great ball. Oliver Springfält made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sindre Westerlund in the 22nd minute of play. De Digitale Dribbelaars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Simon Schol in the 25th minute. Carlos Sainz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Pieter-Jan Wagemakers made a huge save. 32 minutes into the game, Bengt-Rune Palm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pieter-Jan Wagemakers. Bengt-Rune Palm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After having played for 36 minutes, Erik Roodenburg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Digitale Dribbelaars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Roodenburg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pieter-Jan Wagemakers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Georg Klintæus in the 38th minute. In the 44th minute, Reinhard Alards ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oliver Springfält was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Mart Verweijen hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kristof Klompe was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, FC Kenglo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Sainz to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute of the match, Kristof Klompe got a very nice opportunity to score, but Oliver Springfält was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Pankracy Wisniewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Digitale Dribbelaars's supporters rose to their feet, but Pankracy Wisniewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliver Springfält breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Pankracy Wisniewski came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the De Digitale Dribbelaars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pankracy Wisniewski couldn't finish the play. Oliver Springfält took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinhard Alards, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ulrik Lindmark's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pieter-Jan Wagemakers was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Oliver Springfält made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinhard Alards in the 94th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, De Digitale Dribbelaars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sindre Westerlund to maneuver through the defense. De Digitale Dribbelaars played a much better game than FC Kenglo and deserved their victory. The FC Kenglo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
