Gualterio Gorosti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Opdebeeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualterio Gorosti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnout Labrouche in the 23rd minute of play. Abraham Opdebeeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Gorosti having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Mauricio Cugat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. venturinha F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Brugge the free kick. After 28 played minutes venturinha F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Cugat. A collision led to Club Brugge getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Nickolas Gielens hit a great ball. Arnout Labrouche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Gorosti having to interfere. Mauricio Cugat was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 41st match minute, venturinha F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Cugat to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Abraham Opdebeeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Gorosti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualterio Gorosti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Opdebeeck in the 44th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Maraman made a kick off. Amadeo Tonete hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, venturinha F.C.'s Aquiles Felipillo got a free kick in the 57th minute. Gualterio Gorosti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Opdebeeck in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Club Brugge getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Christian Rouvroys hit a great ball. Jason Manaers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Maraman in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Arnout Labrouche made a precise shot to the right of Gualterio Gorosti. venturinha F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gualterio Gorosti was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abraham Opdebeeck showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 75 minute of play. Hector Maraman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
