Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nickolas Gielens in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavino Manny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gavino Manny didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Club Brugge's Arnout Labrouche shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Gavino Manny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnout Labrouche in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Club Brugge booed when Brown de Adrogue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Clis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee ignored Club Brugge's protests and gave Constantijn Philippaerts a yellow card for diving instead. Constantijn Philippaerts hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Gavino Manny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nickolas Gielens in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Brown de Adrogue's goalkeeper Gavino Manny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnout Labrouche. Brown de Adrogue's Gavino Manny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Brown de Adrogue from getting a goal against them. Arnout Labrouche had several of the Brown de Adrogue's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Gavino Manny as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantijn Philippaerts got free with Gavino Manny in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Club Brugge booed when Brown de Adrogue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Castel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavino Manny made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Arnout Labrouche sent off a good shot on target. If Eustacio Clis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. Club Brugge's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
