Paris Georgatos started the match with the kick off. Dimosthenis Mallios made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Arnout Labrouche sent off a good shot on target. Dimosthenis Mallios came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Brugge's Nickolas Gielens. But to his dismay, Nickolas Gielens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Arnout Labrouche scored to the left of an out of position Dimosthenis Mallios, making the score, 2-0. Jason Manaers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paris Georgatos's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. A collision led to Club Brugge getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Andries Vleschers hit a great ball. Dimosthenis Mallios was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nickolas Gielens showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Andries Vleschers took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Dimosthenis Mallios to make any attempt to save it. 5-0 became the score in the 33rd minute when Andries Vleschers elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Nickolas Gielens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimosthenis Mallios was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Simon Van Boeckost received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Dimosthenis Mallios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nickolas Gielens to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nickolas Gielens in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimosthenis Mallios prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the game, Arnout Labrouche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Dimosthenis Mallios was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dimosthenis Mallios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nickolas Gielens in the 61st minute of play. Jason Manaers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paris Georgatos in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's goal looked a bit too open when Nickolas Gielens came free, but Dimosthenis Mallios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Constantijn Philippaerts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Brugge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantijn Philippaerts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th match minute, Club Brugge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nickolas Gielens to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's zone, Andries Vleschers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimosthenis Mallios came out of the goal and Andries Vleschers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paris Georgatos in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jason Manaers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 78 minutes into the match, Paris Georgatos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jason Manaers. Club Brugge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paris Georgatos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. In the 81st minute, Nickolas Gielens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Brugge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. In the 85th minute, Constantijn Philippaerts made a precise shot to the right of Dimosthenis Mallios. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. In the 88th minute, Arnout Labrouche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dimosthenis Mallios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantijn Philippaerts in the 90th minute of the match. Dimosthenis Mallios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnout Labrouche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 played minutes ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Perakoglou. Club Brugge walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
