Guillen Baltanas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Galo Campos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Guillen Baltanas made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquiles Salan during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aquiles Salan kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Beremundo Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Guillen Baltanas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillen Baltanas was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Beremundo Castro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Beremundo Castro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. FORZA BRESCIA's Aquiles Salan got his second yellow card of the match in the 30th minute. The referee ordered Aquiles Salan off the ground. In the 30th minute, Aquiles Salan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Beremundo Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guillen Baltanas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Galo Campos in the 33rd minute of the match. Sporting Burgas's Galo Campos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 37th minute Beremundo Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Baltanas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 played minutes FORZA BRESCIA got a freekick which was hit by Emesto Verdeja. Guillen Baltanas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beremundo Castro in the 40th minute of the match. When Vitor Barzana fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FORZA BRESCIA's protests and gave Vitor Barzana a yellow card for diving instead. Galo Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillen Baltanas having to interfere. The supporters of Sporting Burgas booed when FORZA BRESCIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodas Morales didn't get a good kick on the ball. FORZA BRESCIA's Guillen Baltanas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seve Sevilla in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beremundo Castro was the one to do the kick off. Beremundo Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillen Baltanas having to interfere. In the 57th minute Beremundo Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Baltanas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Beremundo Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Burgas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beremundo Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guillen Baltanas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beremundo Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Beremundo Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Guillen Baltanas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Sporting Burgas's Beremundo Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillen Baltanas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Seve Sevilla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guillen Baltanas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 82nd minute of the match Sporting Burgas got a corner. FORZA BRESCIA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Seve Sevilla ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Sporting Burgas's Seve Sevilla to fire away a dangerous shot which Guillen Baltanas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 92nd minute Galo Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Baltanas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Sporting Burgas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
