FC Pegasas Siauliai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC the free kick. Benjámin Csontos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rūtenis Bračas in the 35th minute of the match. After 44 played minutes, FC Pegasas Siauliai's Erikas Motiekaitis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benjámin Csontos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Pegasas Siauliai reached it.

Mantvydas Bekeris hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Arūnas Zaleckis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from János Farkas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 56 minutes on the clock, Adomas Žukauskas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, FC Pegasas Siauliai's Adomas Žukauskas got a free kick in the 57th minute. Arūnas Zaleckis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from János Farkas in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mantvydas Bekeris got free with Benjámin Csontos in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mantvydas Bekeris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Benjámin Csontos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
