Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexandre Van Kamp started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Daan Ooms came free, but Zygmunt Gniech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Weggers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Przemyslaw Frankowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 10 minutes, Jamie Van Latem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Royal Antwerp FC and the SMOCZANKA MIELEC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Jamie Van Latem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. William Weggers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Przemyslaw Frankowski in the 12th minute of play. In the 15thth minute of the game Przemyslaw Frankowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Royal Antwerp FC's William Weggers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by SMOCZANKA MIELEC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guy Wolfs was slow to take the kick. During this time Royal Antwerp FC's players had a chance to rest. Royal Antwerp FC's Guy Wolfs was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zygmunt Gniech in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 20th minute, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Krzysztof Mocko seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Krzysztof Mocko the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SMOCZANKA MIELEC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Krzysztof Mocko had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to SMOCZANKA MIELEC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Krzysztof Mocko hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Jaks got free with Zygmunt Gniech in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kazimierz Nowakowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for William Weggers. Royal Antwerp FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zygmunt Gniech was a little too slow when Roland Jaks got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goalkeeper Zygmunt Gniech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daan Ooms. When Herbert Bulkiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SMOCZANKA MIELEC's protests and gave Herbert Bulkiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Herbert Bulkiewicz got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the game, Daan Ooms recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zygmunt Gniech. Daan Ooms showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 40th minute, Alexandre Van Kamp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Royal Antwerp FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 45 played minutes Royal Antwerp FC got a freekick which was hit by Jamie Van Latem. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Daan Ooms took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zygmunt Gniech. Zygmunt Gniech dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Royal Antwerp FC's zone, Przemyslaw Frankowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Weggers came out of the goal and Przemyslaw Frankowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Daan Ooms notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Zygmunt Gniech. Zygmunt Gniech was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Jaks in the 59th minute of play forced SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goalkeeper Zygmunt Gniech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th match minute, SMOCZANKA MIELEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borys Pruss to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Van Kamp in the 66th minute of play forced SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goalkeeper Zygmunt Gniech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Daan Ooms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zygmunt Gniech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Van Kamp in the 69th minute of play forced SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goalkeeper Zygmunt Gniech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Alexandre Van Kamp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Royal Antwerp FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. William Weggers came out of the goal and Przemyslaw Frankowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Roland Jaks's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zygmunt Gniech was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Zygmunt Gniech came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Royal Antwerp FC's Daan Ooms. But to his dismay, Daan Ooms quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Zygmunt Gniech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Van Kamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dominik Banaszak fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SMOCZANKA MIELEC's protests and gave Dominik Banaszak a yellow card for diving instead. Royal Antwerp FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
