Rashad Stern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gilvan Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rashad Stern came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the AFC Richmond fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rashad Stern couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, AFC Richmond's Brett Hull got a free kick in the 21st minute. Gilvan Sanches came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Richmond's Brett Hull. But to his dismay, Brett Hull quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When AFC Richmond's Lawrence Hopson in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Renascer's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Renascer's zone, Brett Hull stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilvan Sanches came out of the goal and Brett Hull tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilvan Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brett Hull in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Renascer's goal looked a bit too open when Rashad Stern came free, but Gilvan Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lawrence Hopson in the 39th minute of play forced Renascer's goalkeeper Gilvan Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th match minute, Renascer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Guerra came free, but Emerson Whaley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Renascer's goalkeeper Gilvan Sanches, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of AFC Richmond booed when Renascer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brett Hull struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Gilvan Sanches didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Richmond. Rashad Stern recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 minutes, Dito Brodel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Renascer and the AFC Richmond players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Dito Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erin Valencia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Sanches having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lawrence Hopson in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan Sanches saved Renascer from getting behind. Wallace Blum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Grenier hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Renascer's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Lawrence Hopson scored to the left of an out of position Gilvan Sanches, making the score, 0-7. 90 minutes into the match, Renascer's goal looked a bit too open when Wallace Blum came free, but Gilvan Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Renascer booed when AFC Richmond was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Grenier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilvan Sanches was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Brett Hull showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 96 minute of play.
