The Estudiantes de América fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Pascual Acosta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Xabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascual Acosta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Xabier in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind UÅ Mästerbotten's goalkeeper Niklas Ström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pascual Acosta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Xabier in the 16th minute of the match. After 22 minutes, Prospero Abadia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estudiantes de América and the UÅ Mästerbotten players grew even worse after the yellow card. Prospero Abadia kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Gustavo Bautista charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Bautista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Bautista. UÅ Mästerbotten's Niklas Ström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Henrico in the 26th minute of play. Pascual Acosta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Xabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Estudiantes de América's Roque Henrico slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Niklas Ström. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play. In the 44th minute, Flavio Nuñez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Estudiantes de América getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gustavo Bautista hit a great ball. After 47 minutes, Eulalio Xabier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UÅ Mästerbotten and the Estudiantes de América players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, UÅ Mästerbotten's Eulalio Xabier got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Lino Ekialde kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Roque Henrico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niklas Ström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Pascual Acosta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eulalio Xabier in the 56th minute. Niklas Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Henrico in the 57th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Moberg during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Lindberg got free with Pascual Acosta in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pascual Acosta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Lindberg in the 64th minute of play. Eulalio Xabier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Pascual Acosta made a huge save. The supporters of UÅ Mästerbotten booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Orlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. UÅ Mästerbotten's Alexander Öberg got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 85 minutes, Matias Ler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estudiantes de América and the UÅ Mästerbotten players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Matias Ler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Pascual Acosta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. George Lindberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Pascual Acosta made a huge save. With an all-out effort, UÅ Mästerbotten's Pascual Acosta threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eric Moberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Estudiantes de América were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of UÅ Mästerbotten for a fine match.
