Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lex Dewolf made the kick off which started today's match. Mario Kempes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Sanches having to interfere. Gilvan Sanches didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 4th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 7th minute Enzo Díaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Kempes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Gilvan Sanches made a huge save. After 9 played minutes Riverzone got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Transito. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Riverzone's goalkeeper Jeremias Ledesma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Epifanio Txema fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riverzone's protests and gave Epifanio Txema a yellow card for diving instead. Epifanio Txema hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Washington Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Ledesma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilvan Sanches made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Mario Kempes sent off a good shot on target. Lex Dewolf made in the 20th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Epifanio Txema. In the 21st match minute, Renascer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã Antunes to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Lex Dewolf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Enzo Díaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Riverzone fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 34 played minutes Riverzone got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Transito. Renascer's Gilvan Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Txema in the 37th minute of play. Gilvan Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Txema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renascer's attentive Bruno Duarte managed to snatch the ball when Mario Kempes made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. In the 40th minute, Lex Dewolf ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilvan Sanches was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Mario Kempes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Gilvan Sanches made a huge save. In the 44th minute Lex Dewolf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Ceresso hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Washington Guerra to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Txema in the 52nd minute of play forced Renascer's goalkeeper Gilvan Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mario Kempes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilvan Sanches came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Riverzone's Mario Kempes. But to his dismay, Mario Kempes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Gilvan Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Transito, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute Lex Dewolf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Washington Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Renascer's supporters rose to their feet, but Washington Guerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Ledesma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dito Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Ledesma having to interfere. In the 67th minute Mario Kempes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Ledesma came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Renascer's Artur Ceresso. But to his dismay, Artur Ceresso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 72nd minute Rodrigo Transito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Riverzone's Lex Dewolf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilvan Sanches made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Mario Kempes took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilvan Sanches. Gilvan Sanches dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. 80 minutes into the game, Riverzone's Lex Dewolf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilvan Sanches made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. The Riverzone fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Riverzone's Lex Dewolf looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lex Dewolf in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan Sanches saved Renascer from getting behind. In the 87th minute, Mario Kempes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Riverzone fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-1. If Mario Kempes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Enzo Díaz took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilvan Sanches. Gilvan Sanches dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-1. 95 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Transito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-1. Gilvan Sanches was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Riverzone had played much better football throughout.
