Mariano Montae charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Montae the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Huarriors AFC booed when La Ballenera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Montae didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Huarriors AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Oso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Cordearo. After 12 played minutes Huarriors AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Belarmo. Mariano Montae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Oso having to interfere. Nestor Gasteiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Havier, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Eleuterio Belarmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Gasteiz. La Ballenera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eleuterio Belarmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Huarriors AFC booed when La Ballenera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 31st minute Ermegildo Oidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Gasteiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Gasteiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Havier, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, La Ballenera's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Hvalica came free, but Nestor Gasteiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match, Angelo Cordearo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fernando Oso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 40 played minutes Huarriors AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alan Hvalica. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Havier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Gasteiz was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Angelo Cordearo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Fernando Oso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The La Ballenera players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Huarriors AFC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nemesio Havier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Nemesio Havier made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. La Ballenera's Nestor Gasteiz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Montae struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Fernando Oso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Ballenera. Mariano Montae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Fernando Oso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 minutes, Nemesio Havier made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. La Ballenera's Nestor Gasteiz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nemesio Havier in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Gasteiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelo Cordearo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Nemesio Havier took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Nestor Gasteiz to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Huarriors AFC's zone, Mariano Montae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Oso came out of the goal and Mariano Montae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Montae in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Oso saved Huarriors AFC from getting behind. Alan Hvalica kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Eleuterio Belarmo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huarriors AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Huarriors AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
