The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 15th minute Gustav Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Gasteiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Gasteiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kennet Ros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andréas Söderqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Gasteiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Nestor Gasteiz came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Blue Angels's Kennet Ros. But to his dismay, Kennet Ros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 23 minutes into the game, Marcus Berg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Nestor Gasteiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nestor Gasteiz was a little too slow when Kennet Ros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andréas Söderqvist got free with Nestor Gasteiz in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nestor Gasteiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Berg, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andréas Söderqvist got free with Nestor Gasteiz in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. La Ballenera's Nestor Gasteiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Berg in the 37th minute of play. Blue Angels's Roger Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Cordearo in the 38th minute of play. Paolo Abraham's late challenge caught a La Ballenera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paolo Abraham helped the player get up and apologised. Nestor Gasteiz was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Marcus Berg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcus Berg really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. La Ballenera's Nestor Gasteiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save La Ballenera from getting a goal against them. Nestor Gasteiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Berg in the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andréas Söderqvist made a kick off. If Angelo Cordearo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the game, Marcus Berg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Nestor Gasteiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th minute, Marcus Berg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blue Angels fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Nestor Gasteiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kennet Ros in the 63rd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Andréas Söderqvist notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of La Ballenera's Nestor Gasteiz. Nestor Gasteiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcus Berg took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Gasteiz. Nestor Gasteiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. The audience was convinced that Marcus Berg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Gasteiz was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kennet Ros in the 73rd minute of play forced La Ballenera's goalkeeper Nestor Gasteiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Gasteiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kennet Ros, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Blue Angels's Kennet Ros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nestor Gasteiz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-1. In the 87th minute, Clemente Karlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andréas Söderqvist scored 12-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Gasteiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nestor Gasteiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magne Vestberg in the 92nd minute of the match.
