But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedito de Sousa couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in ASDFGHJKLÑ FC's zone, Raúl Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Bermund came out of the goal and Raúl Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Epifanio Bermund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedito de Sousa in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes ASDFGHJKLÑ FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Bernal. In the 17th minute, Washington Quadros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Epifanio Bermund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedito de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ASDFGHJKLÑ FC's Epifanio Bermund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Barbosa in the 20th minute of play. Epifanio Bermund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito de Sousa in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Dr Lecter SC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Delfim Barbosa hit a great ball. Benedito de Sousa succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Dr Lecter SC were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after ASDFGHJKLÑ FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adilson Amorim took the corner. The corner ended in Adilson Amorim almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ASDFGHJKLÑ FC's Epifanio Bermund did a great save. Epifanio Bermund didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 40th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. Epifanio Bermund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. A collision led to ASDFGHJKLÑ FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alvaro Egoi hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Washington Quadros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Epifanio Bermund was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the game, Zeca de Lara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0.
