Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Acheral's Generoso Sedeni started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nereo Balendin made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Benedito de Sousa sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute of the match Dr Lecter SC got a corner. Acheral's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adilson Amorim ran over to the corner to take the kick. 16 minutes into the match, Acheral's goalkeeper Nereo Balendin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedito de Sousa. Nereo Balendin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedito de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Celso Saturnin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Washington Quadros took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Nereo Balendin to make any attempt to save it. In the 30th minute, Dr Lecter SC's Benedito de Sousa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nereo Balendin. Nereo Balendin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Washington Quadros got free with Nereo Balendin in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 36 played minutes Acheral got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Marko. The crowd rose to their feet as Dr Lecter SC's Washington Quadros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nereo Balendin. That made the score 3-0 after 37 minutes of play. In the 40th minute Washington Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Balendin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Generoso Sedeni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedito de Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Acheral defense, Benedito de Sousa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nereo Balendin. The Acheral fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nereo Balendin should have stopped the shot. Washington Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59thth minute of the game Washington Quadros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Acheral's Nereo Balendin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Washington Quadros notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Acheral's Nereo Balendin. Nereo Balendin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nereo Balendin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Tomas Marko charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Marko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Acheral getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Tomas Marko hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Benedito de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dr Lecter SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedito de Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Balendin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the game, Washington Quadros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Nereo Balendin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dr Lecter SC's Benedito de Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nereo Balendin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Quadros in the 81st minute of play. Nereo Balendin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca de Lara in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Acheral's goal looked a bit too open when Zeca de Lara came free, but Nereo Balendin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Washington Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dr Lecter SC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Acheral for a fine match.
