Talleres de Escalada's Angelo Sugoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toke Chute in the 10th minute of play. Juninho França could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Angelo Sugoi made a huge save. 12 minutes into the game, Juninho Rosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LRCA Office Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres de Escalada the free kick. In the 18th minute, Toke Chute left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LRCA Office Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Angelo Sugoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toke Chute, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Talleres de Escalada's Angelo Sugoi got control of the ball when Juninho Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Lonzo in the 26th minute of play forced LRCA Office Club's goalkeeper Maurício Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Juninho Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Talleres de Escalada booed when LRCA Office Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Talleres de Escalada's Angelo Sugoi got control of the ball when Toke Chute tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Marino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Linhares having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With 56 minutes on the clock, Giovanni Cearense commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 57th match minute, LRCA Office Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Cearense to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Ildefonso Belarmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to LRCA Office Club getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Juninho França hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes Talleres de Escalada got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Paublo. Maurício Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Lonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Tobias Bermudez hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Ildefonso Belarmo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Miguel Marino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Maurício Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Juninho França made a precise shot to the right of Angelo Sugoi. Talleres de Escalada's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When Bernardo Fresco fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talleres de Escalada's protests and gave Bernardo Fresco a yellow card for diving instead. Bernardo Fresco hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Juninho França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes Talleres de Escalada got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Belarmo. A collision led to Talleres de Escalada getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Marcelino Basajaun hit a great ball.
