Alfredinho Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Vincent, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Flavio Blai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Leão having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Paulo Renato da Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. E.C Mont Castello - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Martin de Tucuman the free kick. E.C Mont Castello - FDFDF's Alfredinho Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Blai in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Jardel Matos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredinho Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Gizon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredinho Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Gizon in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to San Martin de Tucuman getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Aquilino Pasqual hit a great ball. Anderson da Mata took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfonso Weather. San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 39th minute Hector Gizon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredinho Leão came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by San Martin de Tucuman's Hector Gizon. But to his dismay, Hector Gizon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Alfredinho Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Gizon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The E.C Mont Castello - FDFDF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Martin de Tucuman were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hector Gizon was the one to do the kick off. Alfredinho Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Blai, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 74th match minute, E.C Mont Castello - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. San Martin de Tucuman's Epifanio Paulin was substituted for Rafael Roldanillo. After a rather tough play, E.C Mont Castello - FDFDF's Miguel Fernandes got a free kick in the 76th minute. Hamílton Berger hit a great ball. Hector Gizon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
