Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Thornhill City's Ninoslav Mijanović started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. LiverBird Flyers FC's Joel Sim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ninoslav Mijanović in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Thornhill City getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Mladen Zafirović hit a great ball. Asiz Leng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Negovan Masulović having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Ninoslav Mijanović put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joel Sim. If Asiz Leng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thornhill City's goalkeeper Negovan Masulović, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Asiz Leng might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Negovan Masulović. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Asiz Leng ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute Thornhill City were awarded a corner. Stefan Bjelić went to the cornerflag to take it. Joel Sim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ninoslav Mijanović, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Jithu Kang made a precise shot to the right of Negovan Masulović. Thornhill City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Jithu Kang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Negovan Masulović was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jithu Kang showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 34 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Thornhill City's zone, Asiz Leng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Negovan Masulović came out of the goal and Asiz Leng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Thornhill City getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Paja Paták hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes LiverBird Flyers FC got a freekick which was hit by Asiz Leng. After recieving a nice pass, LiverBird Flyers FC's Shukrie Low tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Asiz Leng was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, LiverBird Flyers FC's Asiz Leng made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Negovan Masulović was left in no man's land by his defense there! 56 minutes into the game, Jithu Kang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Negovan Masulović was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 58 minutes into the game, LiverBird Flyers FC's Jithu Kang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Negovan Masulović made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. LiverBird Flyers FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Ninoslav Mijanović scored to the left of an out of position Joel Sim, making the score, 6-2. After having played for 66 minutes, Asiz Leng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LiverBird Flyers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asiz Leng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Negovan Masulović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asiz Leng in the 67th minute of play. After 67 played minutes LiverBird Flyers FC got a freekick which was hit by Azly Chee. If Jithu Kang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Asiz Leng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Negovan Masulović was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. Negovan Masulović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asiz Leng in the 73rd minute of play. Negovan Masulović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asiz Leng, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Negovan Masulović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jithu Kang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Sim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ninoslav Mijanović's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Thornhill City's goal looked a bit too open when Jithu Kang came free, but Negovan Masulović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Jithu Kang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, LiverBird Flyers FC's Jithu Kang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Negovan Masulović narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Asiz Leng might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Negovan Masulović. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Asiz Leng ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asiz Leng in the 87th minute of play forced Thornhill City's goalkeeper Negovan Masulović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jithu Kang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Negovan Masulović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 99 minutes had been played when some careless play by Thornhill City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Shukrie Low was slow to take the kick. During this time LiverBird Flyers FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led LiverBird Flyers FC's Shukrie Low to fire away a dangerous shot which Negovan Masulović despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. LiverBird Flyers FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
