Eugenio Di Giuseppe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolao Moreira in the 14th minute of play forced Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Cesare Simone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesare Simone came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Fuerzas Armadas's Nicolao Moreira. But to his dismay, Nicolao Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Coronel Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Di Giuseppe, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Cesare Simone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolao Moreira. In the 20th minute, Eugenio Di Giuseppe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Fuerzas Armadas's Bladi Balboa got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 23 minutes, Beppe Zoff made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fuerzas Armadas's Coronel Lara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute Nicolao Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Simone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fuerzas Armadas's Coronel Garrido got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Coronel Garrido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Cesare Simone made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Fuerzas Armadas's Bladi Balboa got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Coronel Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beppe Zoff in the 36th minute of the match. Sorci Viola's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Franco Bosso in the 38th minute. A nice corner shot did that Franco Bosso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Coronel Lara quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nicolao Moreira struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Cesare Simone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fuerzas Armadas. In the 43rd minute, Felice Tozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 44 minutes, Nicolao Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fuerzas Armadas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolao Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Fuerzas Armadas's Estefan Villalcazar got a free kick in the 47th minute. Fuerzas Armadas's Coronel Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Di Giuseppe in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenio Di Giuseppe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Nicolao Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fuerzas Armadas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolao Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolao Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Cesare Simone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesare Simone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolao Moreira in the 57th minute of play. Eugenio Di Giuseppe hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Coronel Garrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesare Simone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolao Moreira in the 62nd minute of the match. Sorci Viola's Amerigo Toninelli has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 64th minute. Franco Bosso kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Coronel Garrido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fuerzas Armadas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Coronel Garrido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Nicolao Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes Sorci Viola got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Bonelli. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Cesare Simone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Coronel Garrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Coronel Garrido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fuerzas Armadas's supporters rose to their feet, but Coronel Garrido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesare Simone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fuerzas Armadas's Coronel Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Fuerzas Armadas from getting a goal against them. After 92 played minutes Fuerzas Armadas got a freekick which was hit by Albi Quintero. 95 minutes into the game, Beppe Zoff recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Coronel Lara. Beppe Zoff showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. When the final whistle sounded Sorci Viola left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fuerzas Armadas.
