But to his dismay, Vágner Valadares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Necmettin Derelioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Carlos Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Necmettin Derelioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ediberto Munhoz in the 16th minute of play. Chelsicha's Diogo Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Chelsicha from getting a goal against them. When Chelsicha's Antônio Carlos Melo in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ÇiçekFc's goalie prevented a goal. When Başar Horasan fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ÇiçekFc's protests and gave Başar Horasan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Başar Horasan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Antônio Carlos Melo made the kick off in the second half. Necmettin Derelioğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antônio Carlos Melo in the 51st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Angelo de Sousa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Necmettin Derelioğlu. That made the score 0-4 in the 81 minute of play. If Antônio Carlos Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erenay Sağan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
