Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Atarratze in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reinaldo Urbina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfredo Aranguea during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ booed when PROTON F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Aranguea didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Wilfredo Aranguea in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's Flávio Azzaro. After some careless play in the PROTON F.C. defense, Simon Atarratze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reinaldo Urbina. The PROTON F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reinaldo Urbina should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Simon Atarratze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reinaldo Urbina was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Simon Atarratze sped through PROTON F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Reinaldo Urbina. After 25 minutes, Simon Atarratze made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. PROTON F.C.'s Reinaldo Urbina tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Reinaldo Urbina came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's Simon Atarratze. But to his dismay, Simon Atarratze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 43rd minute, Silverio Primo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flávio Azzaro kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Atarratze made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Simon Atarratze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reinaldo Urbina was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind PROTON F.C.'s goalkeeper Reinaldo Urbina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Atarratze in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reinaldo Urbina saved PROTON F.C. from getting behind. Reinaldo Urbina made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Simon Atarratze sent off a good shot on target. PROTON F.C.'s Reinaldo Urbina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Atarratze in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes, Alejandro Cisco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ and the PROTON F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Cisco. Florencio Lizondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Baldomero Beturian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silverio Primo's late challenge caught a PROTON F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silverio Primo helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Primo. Wilfredo Aranguea hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Simon Atarratze kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Reinaldo Urbina. That made the score 0-7 in the 79 minute of play. If Simon Atarratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Atarratze in the 82nd minute of play forced PROTON F.C.'s goalkeeper Reinaldo Urbina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes Simon Atarratze could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-8 into the left cross. 94 minutes into the match, ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's Simon Atarratze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reinaldo Urbina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Simon Atarratze sped through PROTON F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Reinaldo Urbina. When the match was over ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PROTON F.C. throughout the match.
