After having played for 22 minutes, Ferdinand Boucher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vancouver Reds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Boucher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 陆西迅 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kong Gang Zhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ferdinand Boucher struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Kong Gang Zhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vancouver Reds. Kong Gang Zhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Boucher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute of the match, Ferdinand Boucher tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kong Gang Zhan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdinand Boucher stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ferdinand Boucher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kong Gang Zhan was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After 94th play minutes Ferdinand Boucher shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Kong Gang Zhan and just under the crossbar into goal.
