When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Lopez was the one to do the kick off. Saturnino Ladra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Célio Queirós's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Saturnino Ladra came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's Marcos Lopez. But to his dismay, Marcos Lopez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Andrei Lupu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Austin having to make a save. Saturnino Ladra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
