José Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ellis Thierse in the 3rd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, José Monteiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ronald Breitbücher succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 10th playminute. 15 minutes into the match, Bembenfica's goalkeeper José Monteiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ellis Thierse. When Cristiano Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bembenfica's protests and gave Cristiano Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Cristiano Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Monteiro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Konstantin Havemann. 17 minutes into the match, Bembenfica's goalkeeper José Monteiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ellis Thierse. 25 minutes into the match, Bembenfica's goal looked a bit too open when Ellis Thierse came free, but José Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bembenfica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De Gulden Draak the free kick. Ronald Breitbücher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Monteiro having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Bembenfica's goal looked a bit too open when Ellis Thierse came free, but José Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 played minutes Evert Heremans rounded Bembenfica's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. José Monteiro was a little too slow when Evert Heremans got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 3-0. 45 minutes into the game, Bernardo Ferrão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bembenfica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De Gulden Draak the free kick. Bernardo Ferrão hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronald Breitbücher made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Bembenfica's Ricardo Albuquerque got a free kick in the 51st minute. José Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Breitbücher, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Bembenfica's goal looked a bit too open when Ellis Thierse came free, but José Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When De Gulden Draak's Kasimir Stadler in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 64thth minute of the game Ellis Thierse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bembenfica's José Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hartmut Achterberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Monteiro having to make a save. In the 71st minute Ellis Thierse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bembenfica getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Aloísio Costa hit a great ball. In the 79thth minute of the game Ronald Breitbücher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bembenfica's José Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st minute, Ellis Thierse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 83 minutes into the match, Evert Heremans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Monteiro. Bembenfica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evert Heremans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 88th minute, Ronald Breitbücher made a precise shot to the right of José Monteiro. Bembenfica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. José Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronald Breitbücher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Gert Porsche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. José Monteiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. De Gulden Draak had played much better football throughout.
