The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Sandberg during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Galapagos Islands FC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Sandberg. 7 minutes into the match, Galapagos Islands FC's goal looked a bit too open when Heliodoro Verdu came free, but Oskar Galle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galapagos Islands FC's Oskar Galle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heliodoro Verdu in the 8th minute of play. Karl-Magnus Fristedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Agustin Orion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oskar Galle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny Sigman in the 15th minute of play. Oskar Galle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heliodoro Verdu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Sonny Sigman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oskar Galle was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Tough and Tasty FC's Heliodoro Verdu got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Heliodoro Verdu might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oskar Galle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heliodoro Verdu ran back to his position shaking his head. Oskar Galle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heliodoro Verdu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tough and Tasty FC's Heliodoro Verdu in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galapagos Islands FC's goalie prevented a goal. Heliodoro Verdu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Galapagos Islands FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Heliodoro Verdu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After the first half Tough and Tasty FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Oskar Galle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Sigman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Heliodoro Verdu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oskar Galle. That made the score 0-3 in the 60 minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Tough and Tasty FC's Heliodoro Verdu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oskar Galle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Heliodoro Verdu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Oskar Galle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heliodoro Verdu in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oskar Galle saved Galapagos Islands FC from getting behind. Heliodoro Verdu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oskar Galle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Tough and Tasty FC booed when Galapagos Islands FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Rune Kilman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute Heliodoro Verdu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Galle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Tough and Tasty FC's Heliodoro Verdu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oskar Galle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Heliodoro Verdu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tough and Tasty FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Heliodoro Verdu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oskar Galle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galapagos Islands FC's goalkeeper Oskar Galle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Heliodoro Verdu in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oskar Galle, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Heliodoro Verdu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Oskar Galle made a huge save. With a little luck, Galapagos Islands FC's Oskar Galle got control of the ball when Heliodoro Verdu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heliodoro Verdu in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oskar Galle prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
