The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Alex Crtichell threw the ball into play from the sideline. Real Academia Serengetti's Armando Baristo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Miguel Borja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Borja scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfie Parrott, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goalkeeper Alfie Parrott had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Borja. In the 14th minute Arthur Rowley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Pirro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th play minute Miguel Borja came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alfie Parrott. 2-0. Miguel Borja didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 21st minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Miguel Borja ran dejectedly back to his position. After 22 played minutes Real Academia Serengetti got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Abeijon. It was a well-played corner which Arthur Rowley managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur Rowley in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Pirro saved Real Academia Serengetti from getting behind. Vladimiro Pirro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arthur Rowley's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Gaspar Casomiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Academia Serengetti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astreix&ObelixSoccer the free kick. Gaspar Casomiro hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Alvaro Reynardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 played minutes Astreix&ObelixSoccer got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Cortiello. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goalkeeper Alfie Parrott, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Drew Moxon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimiro Pirro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Arthur Rowley put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vladimiro Pirro. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Borja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfie Parrott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Borja, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Borja in the 53rd minute of play forced Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goalkeeper Alfie Parrott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Cortiello kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Alfie Parrott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Borja in the 58th minute of play. Miguel Borja blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfie Parrott having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Borja in the 67th minute of play forced Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goalkeeper Alfie Parrott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Astreix&ObelixSoccer's zone, Miguel Borja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfie Parrott came out of the goal and Miguel Borja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blair Cooper kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Vladimiro Pirro made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Arthur Rowley sent off a good shot on target. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Alfie Parrott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Borja in the 92nd minute of play. Real Academia Serengetti's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
