In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind El Golden Volvió!'s goalkeeper Franco Costanzo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Telo Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Naldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, El Golden Volvió!'s Isaac Muno got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Lesardo Abello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Rosendo Naldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telo Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Viking Lo Russo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telo Abalos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lesardo Abello got free with Franco Costanzo in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Telo Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viking Lo Russo in the 29th minute of play. If Leobardo Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute Viking Lo Russo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telo Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, El Golden Volvió!'s Rosendo Naldo got a free kick in the 41st minute. El Golden Volvió!'s Franco Costanzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save El Golden Volvió! from getting a goal against them. Telo Abalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viking Lo Russo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Biaggio made a kick off. A collision led to La Mandarina Mecánica getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Lesardo Abello hit a great ball. Constancio Abecia's late challenge caught a El Golden Volvió!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constancio Abecia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, La Mandarina Mecánica's Constancio Abecia got a free kick in the 61st minute. Telo Abalos came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by El Golden Volvió!'s Viking Lo Russo. But to his dismay, Viking Lo Russo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, La Mandarina Mecánica's Ostadar Abellaneda got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Telo Abalos was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Rosendo Naldo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rosendo Naldo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Pello Abechuco hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Claudio Biaggio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Telo Abalos, 0-4. 90 minutes into the game, El Golden Volvió!'s Rosendo Naldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Telo Abalos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 96 minutes into the match, La Mandarina Mecánica's goalkeeper Telo Abalos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rosendo Naldo. El Golden Volvió!'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
