The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Toby Herget showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Baladi in the 8th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cristo Leocadio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toby Herget was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Nicolas Gonza hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The long shot by Larry Colby in the 20th minute really tested Amador Iratxo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Inmortales FC's Toby Herget played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Bortzaioriz in the 22nd minute of play. Tomás Garcia let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 30th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orville Jacobson in the 34th minute of play forced Gastres FC's goalkeeper Amador Iratxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes Gastres FC got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Bortzaioriz.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomás Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Orville Jacobson came free, but Amador Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herminio Matthew charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herminio Matthew the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Herminio Matthew kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Cristo Leocadio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toby Herget having to interfere. Mike Clinton kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Amador Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Garcia in the 66th minute of the match. Mitch Rushing replaced Tomás Garcia. Gastres FC's Hugo Lain got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Inmortales FC's Mitch Rushing in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gastres FC's goalie prevented a goal. Inmortales FC were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Gastres FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Larry Colby took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Mike Clinton heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Gastres FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Inmortales FC had won, even though Gastres FC had held more of the ball.
