Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) FC Politehnica Timisoara's Cezar Agusoaei started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. João Adolfo de Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Adolfo de Andrade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Witomir Lewandowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Mischie having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezar Agusoaei in the 22nd minute of play forced Grêmio 20 Julho's goalkeeper Jonathan Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes of play, Grêmio 20 Julho's Téo Pires made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiberiu Mischie was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiberiu Mischie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar de Amaral in the 29th minute of the match. Téo Pires's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tiberiu Mischie firmly grabbed it by the left post. 34 minutes into the game, Grêmio 20 Julho's Valdemar de Amaral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiberiu Mischie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 38 played minutes FC Politehnica Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Olimpiu Ignea. With a little luck, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie got control of the ball when Daniel Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valdemar de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Mischie having to interfere. After 45th play minutes Valdemar de Amaral shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Tiberiu Mischie and just under the crossbar into goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdemar de Amaral was the one to do the kick off. If Valdemar de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tiberiu Mischie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar de Amaral in the 51st minute of the match. Valdemar de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 52nd minute Valdemar de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Mischie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilmar Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilmar Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Grêmio 20 Julho got a freekick which was hit by Gilmar Romero. Tiberiu Mischie came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio 20 Julho's Valdemar de Amaral. But to his dismay, Valdemar de Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 63 minutes into the match, Gilmar Romero notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie. Tiberiu Mischie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Grêmio 20 Julho's Jânio Pires was substituted for João Adolfo de Andrade. Witomir Lewandowski scored 7-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiberiu Mischie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 76 minutes, Valdemar de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio 20 Julho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdemar de Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Valdemar de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Romero in the 83rd minute of play. If Valdemar de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Téo Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute, Gilmar Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Politehnica Timisoara players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Grêmio 20 Julho.
