The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. MKS Bełchatów's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Carlinhos Moreira scored to the left of an out of position Izydor Rekowski, making the score, 1-0. José Vítor de Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santos Dumont's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 15th match minute, Clube Atlético Impávido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Prado to maneuver through the defense. Gilbert Brysz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Vítor de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Dumont in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of MKS Bełchatów booed when Clube Atlético Impávido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Santos Dumont left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MKS Bełchatów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Izydor Rekowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 1-2 became the score in the 33rd minute when Santos Dumont elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Impávido's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Dumont came free, but José Vítor de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilbert Brysz scored 1-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Vítor de Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlinhos Moreira to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Santos Dumont managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MKS Bełchatów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Dumont was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th match minute, Clube Atlético Impávido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauan Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. Clube Atlético Impávido's José Vítor de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Dumont in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvaldo Magalhães in the 57th minute of play forced MKS Bełchatów's goalkeeper Izydor Rekowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes Clube Atlético Impávido got a freekick which was hit by Naldo Dante. After 62 minutes of play, MKS Bełchatów's Santos Dumont made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Vítor de Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! José Vítor de Sousa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marian Dropinski in the 67th minute. Carlinhos Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Naldo Dante scored 2-4 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Izydor Rekowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Vítor de Sousa made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Marian Dropinski sent off a good shot on target. Olgierd Sadlowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79th play minutes Santos Dumont shot 2-5, a short shot which went by José Vítor de Sousa and just under the crossbar into goal. After 82 played minutes Clube Atlético Impávido got a freekick which was hit by Naldo Dante. The long shot by Marian Dropinski in the 82nd minute really tested José Vítor de Sousa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of MKS Bełchatów booed when Clube Atlético Impávido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87th play minutes Santos Dumont shot 2-6, a short shot which went by José Vítor de Sousa and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santos Dumont in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Vítor de Sousa saved Clube Atlético Impávido from getting behind. José Vítor de Sousa made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Marian Dropinski sent off a good shot on target. Clube Atlético Impávido's José Vítor de Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Clube Atlético Impávido from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the match, Marian Dropinski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Vítor de Sousa. Clube Atlético Impávido's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marian Dropinski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-7.
