Sanderlend's Roque Navarro managed to work through Lost in pace's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Roque Navarro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The audience was convinced that Roque Navarro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Vegsund was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Lost in pace defense, Roque Navarro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Vegsund. The Lost in pace fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Vegsund should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Roque Navarro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Vegsund was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Alexander Vegsund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toon Van Linthaut's late challenge caught a Sanderlend's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toon Van Linthaut helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lost in pace getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Toon Van Linthaut hit a great ball. Alexander Vegsund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão Aparecido in the 36th minute of the match. Roque Navarro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexander Vegsund having to make a save. In the 44thth minute of the game Roque Navarro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lost in pace's Alexander Vegsund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Lost in pace booed when Sanderlend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betão Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roque Navarro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Jo Grande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meho Vehidović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 51 minutes into the match, Lost in pace's goal looked a bit too open when Bilal Lizde came free, but Alexander Vegsund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sanderlend's Sandy Cemalović got a free kick in the 55th minute. Roque Navarro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alexander Vegsund came out and tried to block the shot, but Roque Navarro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 60th minute. Jan-Aage Reiersen kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Lost in pace got a freekick which was hit by Long Wei Feng. With a little luck, Lost in pace's Alexander Vegsund got control of the ball when Bilal Lizde tried to sneak it across the goal line. Betão Aparecido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Alexander Vegsund made a huge save. Roque Navarro might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Vegsund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roque Navarro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th minute Roque Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Vegsund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Lost in pace's goalkeeper Alexander Vegsund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Navarro. Alexander Vegsund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Alexander Vegsund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the last second Alexander Vegsund throw himself and got hold of the ball when Roque Navarro in the 85thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When the match was over Sanderlend could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lost in pace throughout the match.
