In the 12th minute, Durvalino Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jo Grande received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xande Buffon came out and tried to block the shot, but Jo Grande slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 14th minute. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xande Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Øyvind Åsland in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xande Buffon got control of the ball when Stig Grønstad tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Xandinho Kane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lost in pace's Alexander Vegsund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 30 minutes, Morten Vo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lost in pace and the New Joinville - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lost in pace's Morten Vo got a free kick in the 30th minute. Alexander Vegsund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamine Xande, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th match minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Viana to maneuver through the defense. Jon-Egil Ulvin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of New Joinville - FSCMZ booed when Lost in pace was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Long Wei Feng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lost in pace's Alexander Vegsund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lamine Xande in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Lost in pace booed when New Joinville - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th match minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Chiquinho de Amorim hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Emílio Martins was substituted for Durvalino Travassos. In the 63rd match minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Xande Buffon came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Lost in pace's Stig Grønstad. But to his dismay, Stig Grønstad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lamine Xande during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Válbson Schmidt was substituted for Nicolas De la Cruz. In the 73rd minute, Lamine Xande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xandinho Kane in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Vegsund saved Lost in pace from getting behind. Xandinho Kane blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexander Vegsund having to make a save. Lost in pace's Alexander Vegsund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Lost in pace from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, New Joinville - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jo Grande came free, but Xande Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Xandinho Kane notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Lost in pace's Alexander Vegsund. Alexander Vegsund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lamine Xande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Vegsund having to interfere. Xande Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Grønstad in the 92nd minute of the match.
