The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Aparecido in the 3rd minute of play forced Clube Atlético Impávido's goalkeeper José Vítor de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 5 minutes into the game, when Chico Montenegro put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Impávido's Chico Montenegro got a free kick in the 5th minute. José Vítor de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bilal Lizde in the 6th minute of play. Roque Navarro scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Vítor de Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Roque Navarro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Vítor de Sousa. Clube Atlético Impávido's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roque Navarro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Clube Atlético Impávido booed when Sanderlend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mufid Kostić didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Clube Atlético Impávido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naldo Dante to maneuver through the defense. José Vítor de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 41 minutes of play, Sanderlend's Roque Navarro made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Vítor de Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute Betão Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Vítor de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Sanderlend were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roque Navarro was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Roque Navarro sped through Clube Atlético Impávido's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Vítor de Sousa. After 62 played minutes Sanderlend got a freekick which was hit by Mufid Kostić. 66 minutes into the game, Roque Navarro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Vítor de Sousa. Roque Navarro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Betão Aparecido succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 69th playminute. José Vítor de Sousa was a little too slow when Roque Navarro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-10. José Vítor de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Navarro in the 77th minute of play. Betão Aparecido struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. José Vítor de Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sanderlend. 81 minutes into the match, Roque Navarro notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Clube Atlético Impávido's José Vítor de Sousa. José Vítor de Sousa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roque Navarro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but José Vítor de Sousa made a huge save. 88 minutes into the match, Roque Navarro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José Vítor de Sousa, 0-12. When Sanderlend's Roque Navarro in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 96th minute Roque Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Vítor de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Clube Atlético Impávido fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sanderlend were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
