Marian Dropinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Österberg having to interfere. The supporters of MKS Bełchatów booed when TAQUARI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philipp Lahn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Santos Dumont shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Österberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
