In the 16th minute Roque Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Wiklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Åke Biörkquist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Onsala Ass Kickers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sanderlend the free kick. Onsala Ass Kickers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Betão Aparecido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Betão Aparecido scored 8-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rickard Wiklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sanderlend's Roque Navarro got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Halil Šakić took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rickard Wiklund. Onsala Ass Kickers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sanderlend's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
