Lost in pace's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jo Grande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon-Egil Ulvin in the 15th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Impávido's goalkeeper José Vítor de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Vítor de Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Øyvind Åsland in the 16th minute of the match. Clube Atlético Impávido's José Vítor de Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Atlético Impávido from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morten Vo in the 19th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Impávido's goalkeeper José Vítor de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig Grønstad did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised José Vítor de Sousa 22 minutes into the match. José Vítor de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Grønstad in the 27th minute of play. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Jo Grande sped through Clube Atlético Impávido's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Vítor de Sousa. 37 minutes into the match, Jo Grande notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Clube Atlético Impávido's José Vítor de Sousa. José Vítor de Sousa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th minute, Jo Grande ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Vítor de Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 44th minute, Lost in pace's Jo Grande dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Impávido's Cauan Ferreira got a free kick in the 46th minute. After some careless play in the Clube Atlético Impávido defense, Jon-Egil Ulvin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Vítor de Sousa. The Clube Atlético Impávido fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Vítor de Sousa should have stopped the shot.

Clube Atlético Impávido's José Vítor de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Grønstad in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Jo Grande made a precise shot to the right of José Vítor de Sousa. Clube Atlético Impávido's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 61st minute, Rafa Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Jo Grande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Vítor de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Joachim Follestad put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of José Vítor de Sousa. The supporters of Lost in pace booed when Clube Atlético Impávido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute Jan-Aage Reiersen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Vítor de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Vítor de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jo Grande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig Grønstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morten Vo charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Morten Vo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. José Vítor de Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jo Grande in the 95th minute of the match. Stig Grønstad got in the 99th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but José Vítor de Sousa handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Lost in pace walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
