Spectators: 167 (Terracing: 126, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Themos Vranas made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 minutes, Alexis Kotsanakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympiacos FC and the DINAMO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Kotsanakis. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucrețiu Nicodim in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustratios Vertsotis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, DINAMO's Laurențiu Pârâianu got control of the ball when Themos Vranas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laurențiu Pârâianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themos Vranas in the 13th minute of play. After 14 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Borcz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Themos Vranas in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurențiu Pârâianu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Laurențiu Pârâianu managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Olympiacos FC's Themos Vranas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Themos Vranas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Themos Vranas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Pârâianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurențiu Pârâianu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Themos Vranas's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Soulis Partalis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olympiacos FC's Eustratios Vertsotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Piersic in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dumitru Opincaru to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Fotis Nousias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympiacos FC and the DINAMO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Fotis Nousias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vaggelis Tassakos hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Themos Vranas came free, but Laurențiu Pârâianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Olympiacos FC's Themos Vranas in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DINAMO's goalie prevented a goal. In the 68thth minute of the game Themos Vranas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DINAMO's Laurențiu Pârâianu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Konstantinos Meletiou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurențiu Pârâianu having to interfere. Olympiacos FC's Panos Ntountas was substituted for Soulis Partalis. Olympiacos FC's Nikiforos Valaoras was substituted for Fotis Nousias. Ryszard Borcz charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ryszard Borcz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryszard Borcz to maneuver through the defense. Themos Vranas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laurențiu Pârâianu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themos Vranas in the 77th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Laurențiu Pârâianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Petru Avramescu. In the 81st minute Olympiacos FC were awarded a corner. Panos Ntountas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Olympiacos FC's Panos Ntountas to fire away a dangerous shot which Laurențiu Pârâianu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 81st minute, Xosé Lim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Themos Vranas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympiacos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Themos Vranas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Themos Vranas in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurențiu Pârâianu saved DINAMO from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themos Vranas in the 88th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Laurențiu Pârâianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in DINAMO's zone, Panos Ntountas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurențiu Pârâianu came out of the goal and Panos Ntountas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Panos Ntountas made a precise shot to the right of Laurențiu Pârâianu. DINAMO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Olympiacos FC had played much better football throughout.
