Boğazova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tirant lo Blanch the free kick. In the 30th minute, Semavi Eryiğit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erenay Yaltırak was a little too slow when Juan Sánchez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 40th match minute, Boğazova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şerif Makul to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Tirant lo Blanch's Juan Sánchez got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 45 played minutes Tirant lo Blanch got a freekick which was hit by Gai Alavedra. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Erenay Yaltırak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Sánchez in the 52nd minute of play. Devran Karadağs short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Jose Manuel Sempere to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Şerif Makul hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Tirant lo Blanch's Jose Manuel Sempere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Kemal Oykan in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute Mustafa Kemal Oykan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Manuel Sempere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boğazova's Ceyhan Okan was substituted for Devran Karadağ. Boğazova's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Delmiro Ostots in the 72nd minute. Ceyhan Okan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Manuel Sempere read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Sánchez in the 75th minute of play forced Boğazova's goalkeeper Erenay Yaltırak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Juan Sánchez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tirant lo Blanch's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Sánchez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erenay Yaltırak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boğazova's Macit Ünsevin was substituted for Semavi Eryiğit. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceyhan Okan got free with Jose Manuel Sempere in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tirant lo Blanch fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Tirant lo Blanch's Daniel Solsona got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st match minute, Tirant lo Blanch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Ortega to maneuver through the defense.
