If Jairo Remir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theofanis Marinakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Chumo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th match minute, Los Liquisue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Remir to maneuver through the defense. ΟΦΗ's Theofanis Marinakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Chumo in the 10th minute of play. Iordanis Drambass short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Genaro Flor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Theofanis Marinakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Emmanuel in the 17th minute of play. Mariano Peru kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Iordanis Drambas managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΟΦΗ's supporters rose to their feet, but Iordanis Drambas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Flor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chatziioannou Liadelis kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Theofanis Marinakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Vitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iordanis Drambas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonis Papagrigoriou hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as ΟΦΗ's Fanis Kokkinopoulos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Genaro Flor. That made the score 1-0 after 44 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iordanis Drambas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Los Liquisue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Argoitz to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes ΟΦΗ got a freekick which was hit by Ilias Lazanas. 56 minutes into the match, Los Liquisue FC's Ciriaco Rencio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to ΟΦΗ getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ilias Lazanas hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Liquisue FC's Cipriano Vitin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Theofanis Marinakis. That made the score 1-1 after 60 minutes of play. Iordanis Drambas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Genaro Flor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ΟΦΗ's Giannis Tzanetos got a free kick in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaspar Emmanuel got free with Theofanis Marinakis in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of ΟΦΗ booed when Los Liquisue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Remir didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fanis Kokkinopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theofanis Marinakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Vitin went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
