Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Costa in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermengildo Trianes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior Berger in the 10th minute of play forced FERRABARCA FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Trianes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Faxardo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Hermengildo Trianes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Zeca Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FERRABARCA FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Rayman Baraona hit a great ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind FERRABARCA FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Trianes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to FERRABARCA FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Iratze Vedeja hit a great ball. Juninho Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Valines, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Hermengildo Trianes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Berger in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Zeca Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the game, Ur Marfa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FERRABARCA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Motta Futebol Clube the free kick. Ur Marfa hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, FERRABARCA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Freire came free, but Hermengildo Trianes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Weterio Arozamena got free with Juninho Freire in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Motta Futebol Clube booed when FERRABARCA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rayman Baraona didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Weterio Arozamena made the kick off in the second half. When Júnior Berger came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Motta Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júnior Berger couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, FERRABARCA FC's Weterio Arozamena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juninho Freire narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 57 minutes Motta Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernardino Burgueño who took care of the corner kick. Ur Marfa made a great header on FERRABARCA FC's corner, it was just that Motta Futebol Clube's Juninho Freire managed to reach the ball for a save. Elias Freire's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermengildo Trianes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Aurel Bărbătescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Trianes having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Motta Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. Zeca Esteves was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Motta Futebol Clube's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Aurel Bărbătescu kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Hermengildo Trianes came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Motta Futebol Clube's Júnior Berger. But to his dismay, Júnior Berger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Juninho Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Valines, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Gaspar Valines scored 1-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juninho Freire, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Júnior Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Trianes having to interfere. Ur Marfa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Motta Futebol Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
