Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Erik Magnusson in the 11th minute of the match. El Salvador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Jan-Erik Magnusson scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Zorita, making the score, 2-0. In the 19th minute, Jesus Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Jan-Erik Magnusson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Moises Fernandino helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Moises Fernandino hit a great ball. Jan-Erik Magnusson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardo Zorita came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan-Erik Magnusson slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 37th minute. In the 45th minute, Joshua Curbelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Jan-Erik Magnusson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Jan-Erik Magnusson sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Jan-Erik Magnusson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. Jan-Erik Magnusson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. 58 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Erik Magnusson came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jan-Erik Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cebollas's Sarracino De la Rosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Cebollas from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Jan-Erik Magnusson put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Zorita. 72 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Erik Magnusson came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Erik Magnusson might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Erik Magnusson ran back to his position shaking his head. Jan-Erik Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute, Joshua Curbelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Cebollas's Jan-Erik Magnusson. But to his dismay, Jan-Erik Magnusson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 82 minutes into the match, Jan-Erik Magnusson notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute, Jorge Magrina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Erik Magnusson went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Erik Magnusson's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The audience was convinced that Jan-Erik Magnusson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Joshua Curbelo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Cebollas were the better team. Cebollas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
