When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Eskil Trulsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Tim Wiese to make any attempt to save it. In the 33rd minute, Rikard Månsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute of the match SV Bad Harzburg got a corner. Lost Boys Sports Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Klaus Vielhaus ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Klaus Vielhaus almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lost Boys Sports Academy's Sten Sture did a great save. Sten Sture showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halldor Sönksen, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rikard Månsson during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee ignored Lost Boys Sports Academy's protests and gave Patrik Lang a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Bobbo Bobbenkamp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tim Wiese was relentless in the 60th minute of the game.
