Xavier Baião came out of the goal and Abd al-Aziz Kader tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abd al-Asis Lacen got free with Xavier Baião in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bouzid Bentifour in the 31st minute of play forced Futebol Espinhel's goalkeeper Xavier Baião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Fagundes during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute, Adab FC's Bouzid Bentifour dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Futebol Espinhel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Xavier Baião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bouzid Bentifour in the 45th minute of play. Abd al-Aziz Kader kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Adab FC's Nouredine Mimoun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Fagundes in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Hermano Gouveia struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Nouredine Mimoun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futebol Espinhel. Nouredine Mimoun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Fagundes in the 68th minute of play. When Pedro Fagundes came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Futebol Espinhel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Fagundes couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Liberato in the 72nd minute of play forced Adab FC's goalkeeper Nouredine Mimoun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermano Gouveia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Nouredine Mimoun made a huge save. In the 87th match minute, Adab FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheb Sadmi to maneuver through the defense. Torcato Portela hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Xavier Baião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abd al-Asis Lacen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Karl-Michael Vennerström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Adab FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futebol Espinhel the free kick. A collision led to Adab FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Karl-Michael Vennerström hit a great ball. Futebol Espinhel's Hermano Gouveia got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adab FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
