The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lech Nakoneczny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mieszko Niemojewski went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 6 minutes into the match, Russówek's goal looked a bit too open when Mieszko Niemojewski came free, but Lech Nakoneczny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leszek Psotka struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Jaroslav Kaczynski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Russówek. Lech Nakoneczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mieszko Niemojewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaroslav Kaczynski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Olchowy, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Leszek Psotka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Russówek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leszek Psotka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Russówek's goal looked a bit too open when Mieszko Niemojewski came free, but Lech Nakoneczny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Russówek's Lech Nakoneczny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mieszko Niemojewski in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Edgar Olchowy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslav Kaczynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Mieszko Niemojewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lech Nakoneczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Wincek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 23 minutes, Tadeusz Pozorski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Russówek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeusz Pozorski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lech Nakoneczny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincenty Zajac in the 25th minute of the match. Zbyszko Wincek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Lech Nakoneczny made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Edgar Olchowy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Russówek's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Olchowy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaroslav Kaczynski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zbyszko Wincek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Nakoneczny having to interfere. Russówek were furious when Zdzislaw Waselewicz was red carded, 32 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Lech Nakoneczny had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Mieszko Niemojewski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Piotr Adamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jaroslav Kaczynski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leszek Psotka in the 37th minute of play forced Illuminati's goalkeeper Jaroslav Kaczynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Leszek Psotka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Russówek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After having played for 41 minutes, Mieszko Niemojewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Illuminati's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mieszko Niemojewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 42 played minutes Illuminati got a freekick which was hit by Damian Wejta. Mieszko Niemojewski took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lech Nakoneczny. Lech Nakoneczny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leszek Psotka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Illuminati's Jaroslav Kaczynski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Illuminati from getting a goal against them. Lech Nakoneczny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mieszko Niemojewski's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Lech Nakoneczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mieszko Niemojewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leszek Psotka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jaroslav Kaczynski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Russówek's Piotr Adamus got a free kick in the 59th minute. Julian Makowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Nakoneczny having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Illuminati fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Jaroslav Kaczynski came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Russówek's Tadeusz Pozorski. But to his dismay, Tadeusz Pozorski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Russówek's Lech Nakoneczny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mieszko Niemojewski in the 71st minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Barnaba Zachemski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Russówek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Illuminati the free kick. The supporters of Illuminati booed when Russówek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnaba Zachemski didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Damian Wejta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julian Makowski during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Illuminati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Makowski to maneuver through the defense. Julian Makowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Nakoneczny having to interfere. In the 95th minute of the match Julian Makowski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lech Nakoneczny showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 96th match minute, Russówek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piotr Adamus to maneuver through the defense. The Illuminati fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Russówek were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
