The Αστέρας Δερβενίου fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Periklis Theofilou should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute 何政军 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Periklis Theofilou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Periklis Theofilou came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by 沛水龙城's 洪强宽. But to his dismay, 洪强宽 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Αστέρας Δερβενίου's Savas Lazaris got a free kick in the 25th minute. Periklis Theofilou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 白崇兴 in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 赵斌鹏 in the 27th minute of play forced Αστέρας Δερβενίου's goalkeeper Periklis Theofilou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When 沛水龙城's 何政军 in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Αστέρας Δερβενίου's goalie prevented a goal. In the 42nd minute, 洪强宽 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Periklis Theofilou was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After 47 minutes, 何政军 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 沛水龙城 and the Αστέρας Δερβενίου players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th minute, 何政军 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Viktoras Kleftokotakis made the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, 赵斌鹏 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. 何政军 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Periklis Theofilou having to interfere. Αστέρας Δερβενίου's goalkeeper couldn't reach when 洪强宽 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-9. The Αστέρας Δερβενίου players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
