But to his dismay, Andrey Shevchenko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Matthew Edwards stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Semi Merdan's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Rafal Labus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tristram Ellerton in the 20th minute. Club Atlético de Newell were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Beyaz Zenciler's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Olly Nethercot took the corner. The corner ended in Olly Nethercot almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Beyaz Zenciler's Rafal Labus did a great save. Thanks to some nice moves Tristram Ellerton could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Rafal Labus however easily saved by the left post. Matthew Edwards took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semi Merdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paşa Ali Özdoa took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matthew Edwards. Matthew Edwards dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Rafal Labus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olly Nethercot in the 42nd minute of play. Archie Gilroy kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Cemalettin Onkal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beyaz Zenciler's supporters rose to their feet, but Cemalettin Onkal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matthew Edwards breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Beyaz Zenciler were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute, Kemal Tan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 minutes, Olly Nethercot made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Beyaz Zenciler's Rafal Labus tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Matthew Edwards made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Andrey Shevchenko sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Beyaz Zenciler booed when Club Atlético de Newell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tristram Ellerton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Paşa Ali Özdoa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matthew Edwards. The goal made the score 2-4. 88 minutes into the match, Beyaz Zenciler's goal looked a bit too open when Tristram Ellerton came free, but Rafal Labus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Paşa Ali Özdoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paşa Ali Özdoa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-5 in the 91st playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristram Ellerton in the 95th minute of play forced Beyaz Zenciler's goalkeeper Rafal Labus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beyaz Zenciler's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
