The referee ignored São Paulo Leste F.C.'s protests and gave Frank Borges a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of HeBr United booed when São Paulo Leste F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. When São Paulo Leste F.C.'s Frank Borges in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HeBr United's goalie prevented a goal. Iuri Antunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Noel Sena in the 9th minute. When Elói de Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the HeBr United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elói de Amaral couldn't finish the play. Frank Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Iuri Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Iuri Antunes managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when São Paulo Leste F.C.'s Noel Sena fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 27 minutes into the game, Noel Sena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iuri Antunes. Noel Sena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noel Sena got free with Iuri Antunes in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 played minutes HeBr United got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Viana. In the 39th minute, São Paulo Leste F.C.'s Noel Sena ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iuri Antunes. Iuri Antunes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 46 minutes into the game, Noel Sena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Iuri Antunes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Borges was the one to do the kick off. Noel Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Iuri Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 played minutes HeBr United got a freekick which was hit by Benjamim Ferreira. A collision led to São Paulo Leste F.C. getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Frank Borges hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the game, Wágner da Mata was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. São Paulo Leste F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HeBr United the free kick. 77 minutes into the match, HeBr United's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Sena came free, but Iuri Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 88th minute of the match Wágner da Mata completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wágner da Mata a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, São Paulo Leste F.C.'s Wágner da Mata got a free kick in the 89th minute. Tostão Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Sena in the 94th minute of play forced HeBr United's goalkeeper Iuri Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elói de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, HeBr United's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Borges came free, but Iuri Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. São Paulo Leste F.C. had played much better football throughout.
